Cancer Core Europe (CCE) proudly stands as a partner in canSERV, an EU-funded initiative under the Horizon Europe program dedicated to advancing cancer research and delivering cutting-edge, interdisciplinary, and tailored oncology services throughout Europe.
canSERV is committed to provide a comprehensive portfolio of oncology-related research services, freely accessible by scientists across Europe and beyond. Through its platform, canSERV aims to facilitate seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing in the efforts against cancer.
“The canSERV consortium will meet the needs of EU academic and industry users and create a more effective, streamlined and defragmented European oncology research infrastructure landscape” states Prof. Jens K. Habermann, Director General of BBMRI-ERIC, Coordinator of canSERV.
CCE’s Role in Complex Clinical Trial Planning and Design Service
canSERV provides a comprehensive catalog of over 400 research services, ranging from basic science to therapeutic applications. One of its service areas is Accelerated Translation into Personalised Oncology Clinical Practice, which aims to provide expert advice to help patients benefit from cancer research results, whether they are related to a single complex patient case or new discoveries. Among these, and due to its extensive knowledge, critical mass, and resources, Cancer Core Europe (CCE) actively provides services in the planning and design of complex clinical trials.
CCE leverages its experience to provide vital help to clinical investigators, sponsors, and the cancer community. Through a dedicated help desk, scientists can seek support for clinical trial-related concerns.
By fostering collaboration, accessibility, and knowledge exchange, these efforts are confidently creating meaningful change in cancer research across Europe. CCE not only supports but encourages these initiatives.
