Meet: Arsela Prelaj

Former Summer School attendee, member of CCE’s Imaging task force and participant in TRYTRAC 2

Meet Arsela Prelaj, a medical oncologist at Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Milano, Head of the AI-O-Lab, and PhD in Bioengineering from the Politecnico di Milano. In this interview, she shares her journey in Cancer Core Europe, starting as a participant in the 2022 Summer School and now returning as a speaker in 2024. Drawing from her expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), she discusses its current applications in cancer research and future possibilities. Arsela also highlights how AI is being integrated into translational research projects at CCE through the Imaging Task Force, and expresses her excitement for being part of the second edition of the TRYTRAC training program starting in December 2024.
