How are we organised
Cancer Core Europe leadership members are a diverse group of experts dedicated to advancing cancer research. CCE is governed through a Board of Directors, an Operational Board, pillars and task forces committees, and a central office.

Legal
As of 2016, Cancer Core Europe established a network embracing the contract managers/legal advisors at each institute to coordinate and speed-up all the legal stuff related to CCE.
The main focus of this group is to develop template agreements for each type of collaboration with external partners as well as internal agreements and review all the agreements concerning CCE activities.
Thus far, the legal group has successfully negotiated a template Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) between CCE partners and a Data Sharing and Joint Controller Agreement (DSJCA). Recently, a major milestone was established when the group negotiated and executed a Master Collaboration Agreement, which allows the CCE partners to share confidential information among themselves, which is essential to preparing applications and discussing future collaborations.
CCE’s legal group is currently led by the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology.
Communication
To concentrate all internal and external communication, Cancer Core Europe appointed a Communication Officer since 2020. Cambridge held the role of Communication Officer initially, followed by NKI, and as of 2023, VHIO has been leading the project’s communication efforts.
The Communication Office’s primary objectives are to organize and distribute all pertinent information via the appropriate channels to CCE parties, both internal and external.
CCE’s legal group is currently led by the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology.
